The purpose of this study is to show and discuss possible applications of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) quantification perfusion analysis, perfusion CT (pCT) quantification perfusion analysis and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) for the study of liver and pancreatic tumors for prognostic stratification and therapeutic response assessment. Many Authors have reported the usefulness of CEUS and pCT with enhancement quantification analysis for either prognostic stratification or therapeutic response assessment in the study of liver and pancreatic tumors. Recent technological developments in MRI as diffusion-weighted imaging and dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI have been shown usefulness regarding the evaluation of liver and pancreatic tumors demonstrated its capability for prediction and assessment of therapeutic responses.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to show and discuss possible applications of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) quantification perfusion analysis, perfusion CT (pCT) quantification perfusion analysis and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) for the study of liver and pancreatic tumors for prognostic stratification and therapeutic response assessment. Many Authors have reported the usefulness of CEUS and pCT with enhancement quantification analysis for either prognostic stratification or therapeutic response assessment in the study of liver and pancreatic tumors. Recent technological developments in MRI as diffusion-weighted imaging and dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI have been shown usefulness regarding the evaluation of liver and pancreatic tumors demonstrated its capability for prediction and assessment of therapeutic responses.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
