Abstract
The SwitchOff project addresses the well-being of remote workers, focusing on the right to disconnect. Digitalization and the intensive use of ICTs have increased efficiency but also fostered an “always-on” culture, negatively impacting workers’ well-being. In Italy, an online survey and focus groups with HR managers and remote workers identified key challenges in promoting work detachment, such as a lack of resources, expertise, and leadership support. The findings contributed to the development of a toolkit and training program to help managers implement effective disconnection practices. The study highlights the need for national and EU-level policies and regulations to safeguard employees’ right to disconnect.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
