Abstract

In everyday life it is very common to deal with situations that can influence one’s state of suffering or wellbeing, and children gradually develop an understanding of these two states (Bruner, 1986). Considering the pervasiveness of these states, the main aim of the present work is to investigate how children conceptualize states of positive and negative valences pertaining to their body and to their mind.
