This study will focus on Russian „predicatives‟ and their grammatical shift in the process of translation from source language (L1) to target language (L2). They will be analysed with respect (i) to their argument structure, and, in particular, (ii) to different structures that do not show grammatical differences when translated from L1 to L2. After briefly introducing these forms and explaining, in short, what argument structure does imply, different examples of translations from Russian into English and Italian will be given; they will show the grammatical status of predicatives, concordances and differences.

Abstract
This study will focus on Russian „predicatives‟ and their grammatical shift in the process of translation from source language (L1) to target language (L2). They will be analysed with respect (i) to their argument structure, and, in particular, (ii) to different structures that do not show grammatical differences when translated from L1 to L2. After briefly introducing these forms and explaining, in short, what argument structure does imply, different examples of translations from Russian into English and Italian will be given; they will show the grammatical status of predicatives, concordances and differences.File in questo prodotto:
