The article will briefly outline the outcomes of some authors, in particular V.V. Babajceva and I.P. Matchanova, who assume that some particular Russian forms ending in –o, as холодно, with respects to their semantics, may or may not belong to the so called ‗category of condition‘ according to the different communicative aims and contexts.
