Abstract
In the recent excavation survey published on the medieval Jewish necropolis in via Orfeo, Bologna, there is no discussion of the coins and token that had been found. This contribution addresses the omission by highlighting the deducing data as well as the critical issues that can be encountered in this type of study. After laying out the excavation’s framework, the article turns its attention to the recovered coins and token, considering them in the stratigraphies in which they were found and in their broader historical contexts.File in questo prodotto:
