This essay proposes a new way of conceiving of concepts in the light of contemporary thought. Concepts are not be equated with "logos", but should also include the power of "mythos", which means that they should be flexible, instead of rigid, open to the singular, rather than abstract, and, finally, productive of knowledge, and not a merely result of it.
