Abstract

This study analyses the functional distribution of extended income implementing a compositional analysis procedure. We specify a linear regression model with the three parts of the extended income (labor, wealth and time or unpaid labor) as compositional response variables to investigate the influence of both family background and the socio-demographic characteristics on the three parts.
