Recent transformations in the labor market and in the concept of work itself have also had an impact on the university context. Moreover, due to the pandemic, the new ways of working, teaching and learning rep-resented an important change for academic staff, teachers and students, who have suddenly switched from face-to-face forms of interaction to telematic ones. All these factors affect the well-being and can increase the development of psycho-social risk factors. For this reason, an interdisciplinary reflection is needed in order to identify tools, processes, and good practices aimed to organizational improvement. The debate re-garding the issue of organizational well-being in the academic context is a contemporary topic addressed by the AIP group “Quality of Life at Work (QoL@Work)”, which proposes the current interdisciplinary sympo-sium in order to provide a contribution including: a scoping review and a meta-analysis on the relationship between demands and psychological/health negative outcomes; a qualitative research on the practices of work-related stress assessment in the Italian academia; a preliminary validation of a new tool to assess the quality of working life in the Italian academic context; and a study on the remote working in the university administrative staff.
