In the analysis of tissue differences between before and after radiofrequency ablation in pancreatic lesions were found significant variations, expected, in many texture parameters regarding the core of thermal injury. A lower significance was found in the marginal zone and this last data is innovative with potential implications. Further studies on a wider population are necessary to reach a more complete knowledge of the variability of texture parameters in this context and to acquire useful informations from a diagnostic, prognostic and response point of view.

Abstract
