In the analysis of tissue differences between before and after radiofrequency ablation in pancreatic lesions were found significant variations, expected, in many texture parameters regarding the core of thermal injury. A lower significance was found in the marginal zone and this last data is innovative with potential implications. Further studies on a wider population are necessary to reach a more complete knowledge of the variability of texture parameters in this context and to acquire useful informations from a diagnostic, prognostic and response point of view.

Abstract

In the analysis of tissue differences between before and after radiofrequency ablation in pancreatic lesions were found significant variations, expected, in many texture parameters regarding the core of thermal injury.
