This essay is devoted to the Italian editions of Hölderlin's theoretical writings, and aims to reconstruct their history from 1948 to 2019. In so doing, it enables scholars and readers to get insight into the main phases of this history, the first (1948-1971) being dominated by Heidegger's interpretation, the second (1980-2019) signaling a radical change of direction towards philological and historical accuracy. Moreover, this essay shows how crucial editorial and philological work as well as translation are to philosophy itself.

Abstract
This essay is devoted to the Italian editions of Hölderlin's theoretical writings, and aims to reconstruct their history from 1948 to 2019. In so doing, it enables scholars and readers to get insight into the main phases of this history, the first (1948-1971) being dominated by Heidegger's interpretation, the second (1980-2019) signaling a radical change of direction towards philological and historical accuracy. Moreover, this essay shows how crucial editorial and philological work as well as translation are to philosophy itself.File in questo prodotto:
