Abstract
The Holy Trinity of Felice Brusasorci was commissioned by Gaspare Verità (1573 c.): the painting expresses Agostinian values and is a part of a wider program whose goal was the celebration of Gaspare's restricted family, in competition with contemporary works commissioned by other branche of the Verità family. A similar competitive behaviour among different braches of the same family can explain the Holy Trinity attributed to Jacopo Ligozzi (1577 c.), whose commission is here assigned to Leonardo Banda.File in questo prodotto:
