Abstract
The paper focuses on advisers at the Macedonian court in the fourth century BC, particularly during the conquest of the Persian Empire. Our sources depict Alexander as a king reluctant to accept any suggestion given by his companions or relatives. An overview of the cases allows us to deal with the main issues raised by the works of Alexander Historians: the reliability of their information and the validity of our hypotheses.File in questo prodotto:
