This paper focuses on some aspects of the philological controversy concerning the au- thenticity of Dante Alighieri’s Questio de aqua et terra. A closer analysis of its text discloses new elements, which allow us to strenghten the conclusions of Edward Moore and Francesco Mazzoni in support of its attribution to Dante.

Abstract
