The history of the French lexis of electricity begins in the first half of the 18th century, when research on energy is increasing in Europe and in the United States. Over the decades, the transformations of electricity have contributed to the development of sciences and techniques, of Physics and Medicine, as well as to the radical change of the world of industry, transports and households. By examining the main stages of this terminology, the most relevant terms, and the different text typologies that marked its evolution, we will gain a more accurate perception of a notable sector in economic, institutional and social terms.File in questo prodotto:
