In this paper, we aim to provide some insight around the translation of religious texts from Italian to French. Although religious translation, in any language, has been widely studied in its multiple dimensions, translations from Italian into French, which, however, abound over the centuries, are the subject of very rare studies. We will analyze the case of the abbé Postel, a tireless popularizer and translator of Christian works in France in the nineteenth century.

Abstract
In this paper, we aim to provide some insight around the translation of religious texts from Italian to French. Although religious translation, in any language, has been widely studied in its multiple dimensions, translations from Italian into French, which, however, abound over the centuries, are the subject of very rare studies. We will analyze the case of the abbé Postel, a tireless popularizer and translator of Christian works in France in the nineteenth century.File in questo prodotto:
