The new theoretical perspective proposed by the Open Theism compels us to a deepening and an evaluation of the “classic” solutions formulated to solve the antinomy between divine omniscience and human freedom. One of these “solutions” is the argumentation of Boethius, taken up and made more sophisticated by many authors in the contemporary debate in Analytic Philosophy of Religion. The Author aims to analyze the interpretation of the “timelessness solution” developed in this context and the main objections that have been addressed to it, attempting to outline some conclusions about its ef- ficacy in solving the antinomy and undermine the arguments of Open Theism

Abstract
The new theoretical perspective proposed by the Open Theism compels us to a deepening and an evaluation of the “classic” solutions formulated to solve the antinomy between divine omniscience and human freedom. The Author aims to analyze the interpretation of the “timelessness solution” developed in this context and the main objections that have been addressed to it, attempting to outline some conclusions about its ef- ficacy in solving the antinomy and undermine the arguments of Open TheismFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
