This paper explains how pedagogy and intercultural communication can offer appropriate responses to the current crisis, given that they are based on fruitful engagement with thought, concepts and preconceptions and that they are geared towards notions “of being”, where the human person in its entirety is pivotal, regardless of its linguistic, cultural, social and religious affiliations.
