Abstract

Based on Italian data, this paper focuses on the aspect-related properties of nominalizations of psychological predicates that realize the Experiencer argu- ment as the direct object (Object Experiencer, henceforth OE verbs). In particu- lar, it deals with the possibility (or impossibility) of preserving the agen- tive/eventive semantics, available to a subset of OE verbs, in the nominal domain.
