This article reports the preliminary results of an analysis assessing the impacts of climate change on the wine industry at local (vineyard) scale. However, before the model calibration, some hypotheses on its specification have to be tested, concerning: 1) the variable to be used as a proxy of the vineyard economic performance; 2) the variables to be used to represent the climate, and 3) the relationship among economic and climate indicators. Adopting different hypotheses, several models have been estimated and the specification that better fit the data has been selected.

Abstract
This article reports the preliminary results of an analysis assessing the impacts of climate change on the wine industry at local (vineyard) scale. However, before the model calibration, some hypotheses on its specification have to be tested, concerning: 1) the variable to be used as a proxy of the vineyard economic performance; 2) the variables to be used to represent the climate, and 3) the relationship among economic and climate indicators. Adopting different hypotheses, several models have been estimated and the specification that better fit the data has been selected.File in questo prodotto:
