Taras Ševčenko a 200 anni dalla nascita. Dimensione nazionale, contesto europeo, ricezione

In this article the authors illustrate the aim, the scope and the main themes of the articles collected in the thematic bloc devoted to the Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of his birth. In particular, the authors stress that the idea of the thematic bloc was suggested by the importance of widening the horizon of Shevchenkian studies by introducing new methodologies, points of view, comparative approaches, and express the hope that the contribution of authors from outside Ukraine can favour this development.
