Squares of Yesterday and Today for Quality of Life. Example of Verona. This paper intends to reflect on the weight performed by the squares of yesterday (those traditionally understood ) and today (in particular the stadiums) for quality of life , as well as to highlight the role that these public spaces can play. The squares, (traditionally understood), are explored for their symbolic value, for their ability to create ideas and values, which in turn influence the social and political act. These spaces, in fact, have a symbolic apparatus resulting from the human groups that have “wanted” them and are also custodians of culture. Keywords:squares, quality of life, Verona.
