Clinical Hypnosis is a very important modality in the relief of pain and suffering in dying patients with the treatment of pain and other problems physical, phsycholgical and spiritual. Fear of pain in dying is still common. The hypnotic trance is a state of heightened awareness and focused concentration that can be used to manipulate the perception of pain and suffering.
