Tissue microstructural characterization is crucial in brain tumors. Mean Apparent Propagator Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MAPMRI) is a new technique for diffusion signal reconstruction which has shown good performance in terms of signal fitting. With MAPMRI it is possible to obtain microstructural dependent indices such as Return To the Origin Probability (RTOP), Axis (RTAP) and Plane (RTPP). These indices hold potential for detecting structural properties in both healthy and pathological tissues

Abstract
Tissue microstructural characterization is crucial in brain tumors. Mean Apparent Propagator Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MAPMRI) is a new technique for diffusion signal reconstruction which has shown good performance in terms of signal fitting. With MAPMRI it is possible to obtain microstructural dependent indices such as Return To the Origin Probability (RTOP), Axis (RTAP) and Plane (RTPP). These indices hold potential for detecting structural properties in both healthy and pathological tissuesFile in questo prodotto:
