This survey shows that in the real world of AF continuous medical education is still necessary to improve management of AF patients by Italian internists. Considering the large under-prescription of VKAs, deeper knowledge may advise internists about the usefulness of NOACs in AF patients, and to share clinical road map for an appropriate clinical monitoring.

Abstract
This survey shows that in the real world of AF continuous medical education is still necessary to improve management of AF patients by Italian internists.
