The failure of the promises of “development” aimed in past decades requires a redefinition, not only of the meaning of “well-being”, but also of what we call Science and the research process. Having as a starting point our field experiences, we propos in our dialogic paper an “anatomy” of the research process, of the researcher and of the disciplines. The paper considers the cultural models that play an important role in scientific production and questions the concept of field. It reflects on the construction of the knowing subject and seeks to decolonize the gaze, in an attempt to contribute to a formulation of an ecologic paradigm of the research, attentive to all the elements involved and, especially, to a relation between the researcher, the “researched” and their surroundings, based on the resonance rather than the dichotomy.

Abstract
The failure of the promises of “development” aimed in past decades requires a redefinition, not only of the meaning of “well-being”, but also of what we call Science and the research process. Having as a starting point our field experiences, we propos in our dialogic paper an “anatomy” of the research process, of the researcher and of the disciplines. The paper considers the cultural models that play an important role in scientific production and questions the concept of field. It reflects on the construction of the knowing subject and seeks to decolonize the gaze, in an attempt to contribute to a formulation of an ecologic paradigm of the research, attentive to all the elements involved and, especially, to a relation between the researcher, the “researched” and their surroundings, based on the resonance rather than the dichotomy.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
