The GoPro HERO3 Silver Edition was tested during orthopaedic surgery and general surgery at the University of Verona in percutaneous surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and open surgery. The camera was located on the surgeon’s head to film from the surgeon’s point of view (Figure 1). Because of the device’s characteristics, we tested the following: •• The field of view consecutively with “wide,” “medium,” and “narrow” settings •• The “Protune” setting (a special option for high- quality images) with the associated “white balance” •• The “Taking Photo” option controlled via the iPad application The camera and the recording system were controlled remotely by the op nurse with an Apple iPad using the GoPro app. Simple video-editing software was used to correct the color balance, brightness, and contrast.

Abstract
Simple video-editing software was used to correct the color balance, brightness, and contrast.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
