Objectives: Aim of the article is the description of a treatment modality for the immediate fixed rehabilitation of partial and full maxillary arches with the use of axial implants and tilted fixtures with intrasinus insertion. Materials and methods: Eight full arches and 10 posterior maxilla sectors have been treated for 3 h after the surgery with a screw-retained acrylic resin prosthesis, substituted after six months by final restorations. Results: A total of 52 implants have been followed for an average of 24 months. No implants were lost. No difference was reported in marginal bone loss between axial and tilted implants. Conclusions: This technique could be an alternative approach in case of maxillary bone atrophy with extensive pneumatization of sinus cavities.
