This study used diffusion tensor tractography to evaluate the diffusion parametersof the corpsus callosum and asymmetry in the diffusion parameters of the corticospinal tracts inchildren with congenital hemiparesis. Precision moving critically correlates with the integrity of thepyramidal tracts as evidenced in congenital hemiparesis by the correlation found between corticospinallesions and motor deficits. Therefore we hypothesize that diffusion parameters correlate withthe severity of hemiparesis measured using the Bayley Scales of Infant Development.

Abstract
This study used diffusion tensor tractography to evaluate the diffusion parametersof the corpsus callosum and asymmetry in the diffusion parameters of the corticospinal tracts inchildren with congenital hemiparesis. Precision moving critically correlates with the integrity of thepyramidal tracts as evidenced in congenital hemiparesis by the correlation found between corticospinallesions and motor deficits. Therefore we hypothesize that diffusion parameters correlate withthe severity of hemiparesis measured using the Bayley Scales of Infant Development.File in questo prodotto:
