In this letter to the Editor, we commented the article published by Fishman and Ehrlich (Diabetes Care 1986;9:405-8) comparing their results with our own. In particular, we failed to confirm a higher prevalence of HLA-DR2 occurring in patinets with the Wolfram's Syndrome. Therefore, diifferently from them, we concluded that genetic heterogeneity of HLD aplotypes is common to patients suffering by Wolfram's Syndrome as well as to patient with type 1 diabetes but not the Syndrome.

Abstract
In this letter to the Editor, we commented the article published by Fishman and Ehrlich (Diabetes Care 1986;9:405-8) comparing their results with our own. In particular, we failed to confirm a higher prevalence of HLA-DR2 occurring in patinets with the Wolfram's Syndrome. Therefore, diifferently from them, we concluded that genetic heterogeneity of HLD aplotypes is common to patients suffering by Wolfram's Syndrome as well as to patient with type 1 diabetes but not the Syndrome.File in questo prodotto:
