Report on the IADA Conference "Dialogue Analysis XI" 2007, The University of Münster, March 27-30, 2007, "Dialogue Analysis and Rhetoric".

The 2007 International Conference on Dialogue Analysis was held at the University of Münster, Germany on 27-30 March. It was organised by Prof. Edda Weigand and was sponsored by the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, the Deutsche Forschungsgesellschaft and the John Benjamins Publishing Company. The conference included plenary lectures, panel discussions, parallel sessions with contributions from international scholars and a round table discussion. Each of the four days of the conference began with a morning plenary session chaired by one of the participants. The afternoons were divided into two or three parts with various individual presentations in sessions held contemporaneously. Participants at the conference were invited to attend the sessions of interest to them.
