Normal fibrinogen concentration and function are critical for the successful outcome of a pregnancy. In fact, fibrinogen abnormalities have been implicated in many adverse pregnancy outcomes including post-partum haemorrhage or thrombosis, spontaneous abortion and placental abruption. We describe here four consecutive cases of dysfibrinogenemia followed-up at the Obstetric Department of the University of Verona between 2005 and 2007.

Abstract
Normal fibrinogen concentration and function are critical for the successful outcome of a pregnancy. In fact, fibrinogen abnormalities have been implicated in many adverse pregnancy outcomes including post-partum haemorrhage or thrombosis, spontaneous abortion and placental abruption. We describe here four consecutive cases of dysfibrinogenemia followed-up at the Obstetric Department of the University of Verona between 2005 and 2007.File in questo prodotto:
