The significance of trust and knowledge for the competitiveness of a firm has been already widely described by the theory. But, according to recent researches on the atmosphere present in an organisation, the level of trust is rather low. This is the result of a growing level of mistrust in the relationships caused by individualism and opportunistic behaviours. These facts have been seeding insecurity, mistrust, worries and fear within and outside an organisation. Considering this frame of reference, the objectives of the paper are: - to recall the advantages of trust; - to present a model that enables to reveal the proportion of trust distrust in an organisations indicate the choices tat would enable, - to expel distrust and implement trust within an organisational context.
