PVP-I solution is an effective and safe disinfectant agent used throughout the world because of its efficacy, low cost and low toxicity.Irritant skin reactions and systemic effects have occasionally been reported from PVP-I preparations.We report this case for particular entity of clinical presentation. Incomplete tincture removal and local wetness promoted by the climatic conditions and synthetic cloth occlusion have induced the irritant reaction.
