The contribution presents a critical examination of the el- ements of the philosophy of law that emerge from reading a famous work by Henrik Stangerup. The analysis takes into consideration the dystopian perspective offered by the work and seeks to verify the contemporary relevance of certain legal paradigms: ‘guilt’, ‘sanction’ and ‘autono- my’. In this way, the contribution seeks to offer a critical view of the authority inside the contemporary legal sys- tems as it constrains the freedom of the individual in ways that deny the dignity of the person and his relations with other subjects.

Abstract
The contribution presents a critical examination of the el- ements of the philosophy of law that emerge from reading a famous work by Henrik Stangerup. The analysis takes into consideration the dystopian perspective offered by the work and seeks to verify the contemporary relevance of certain legal paradigms: ‘guilt’, ‘sanction’ and ‘autono- my’. In this way, the contribution seeks to offer a critical view of the authority inside the contemporary legal sys- tems as it constrains the freedom of the individual in ways that deny the dignity of the person and his relations with other subjects.File in questo prodotto:
