Abstract

Switching from Dexcom G6 to G7 in high-performing youth using the Tandem Control- IQ system is observed with modest but significant improvements in both system usability and glycemic outcomes, associated with increased TCL. Importantly, these technological benefits were associated with a markedly improved user experience. Our findings suggest that the primary value of this upgrade lies in reducing the daily burden of diabetes management, highlighting the critical importance of user- centric design in paediatric diabetes technology
