Under Italian company law, there are relevant connections between the rules on shares (and interests) transfer and withdrawal rights. Through a comparative view of the most important national company laws, the article aims to verify the presence and treatment of those connections, as well as the impact of liquidity of shares on the scope of withdrawal rights.
