The article deals with recent, popular prose narratives on climate and environmental crisis for adolescents between eleven and sixteen years old. Fiction can be a powerful tool to stimulate the imagination of young people about possible actions to face a complex problem, which will affect their future. The initial hypothesis is that there are many trials in progress, with recurring and recognizable features to overcome some formers trends of climate fiction proved ineffective or counterproductive.

Abstract
