«Pregiatissimo Professore...». Il confronto di Mario Dal Pra con la filosofia di Croce

Mario Dal Pra published only a limited number of writings devoted to Benedetto Croce, which are insufficient to convey the richness of insights and observations that emerged from his engagement with the “philosophy of spirit.” This study offers a reconstruction of his interpretation of Croce’s thought based on scattered papers and unpublished notebooks, with the aim of bringing into focus not only previously unknown assessments but also the developments that this reading underwent during the years of his university teaching. The contribution is thus situated within a broader evaluation of the legacy of absolute historicism in Italian philosophical debates in the second half of the twentieth century.
