Delayed gastric emptying and gastroparesis are significant gastrointestinal manifestations in patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD), occurring as part of the broader spectrum of autonomic dysfunction. Delayed gastric emptying is highly prevalent in PD and can occur at any stage of the disease. our case suggests that subcutaneous fos- levodopa may represent a feasible therapeutic approach in patients with severely impaired gastrointestinal absorption and motor fluctuations.
