This paper reports on a fragment of Dante’s Monarchia affixed to the rear pastedown of an incunabulum preserved in the Herzogin Anna Amalia Library in Weimar (Germany). A philological analysis of the text, along with two glosses attributed to Cola di Rienzo’s commentary, supports its identification as a witness related to the extant H and Z manuscripts.
Il contributo presenta un frammento della Monarchia di Dante applicato al contropiatto posteriore di un incunabolo conservato presso la Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek di Weimar (Germania). L’analisi filologica del testo, insieme a due glosse attribuite al commento di Cola di Rienzo, ne sostiene l’identificazione come testimone affine ai manoscritti H e Z tuttora esistenti.
