The specimens are almost all located in peripheral areas and are distributed from the 15th to the 19th century, with a greater number of attestations in the first two centuries. Heraldry refers mainly to secular and religious bodies, to members of the church clergy or to the jus patronus.

Si catalogano i 19 fonti battesimali con stemmi ed emblemi esistenti o documentati nella diocesi di Verona, blasonando le armi e attribuendole; uno studio di sintesi descrive e interpreta i dati emersi. Gli esemplari si collocano quasi tutti in aree periferiche e si distribuiscono in un arco cronologico che va al XV al XIX secolo, con un maggior numero di attestazioni nei primi due secoli. L’araldica rimanda principalmente ad enti laici e religiosi, a membri del clero della chiesa o giuspatroni.
