This paper’s interest is to show the way in which a forthcoming termbase, the Red Terminológica del Comercio en Español(ReTeCE), can turn into a resource for learners of Spanish as a foreign/second language in order to learn the specialised lexicon of trade and, in particular, its variation. Given this interest, some of ReTeCE’s features will be depicted, especially those reflecting denominative (two or more lexical forms for the same concept) and conceptual (two or more concepts associated to the same lexical form) variation, on the basis of their textual, thematic, and especially chronological and geographical usage conditionings. Because of this, the building of a specialisedcorpuswill be firstly introduced,and the design of a terminological entry leading to the creation a digital interface capable of reflecting the connectivity between the linguistic, interlinguistic-traductological and distributional features assigned to each term will be consequently explained,bearing in mind the eventual benefits of ReTeCEfor the teaching of Spanish as a foreign/second language. Therefore, considering the ReTeCE’s properties taken into scrutiny, some possible ways in which learners of Spanish as a foreign/second language can make use of thetermbase in order to broaden their knowledge and awareness of terminological variation in a specialised field are finally suggested at the end of the paper.

El diseño de la Red Terminológica del Comercio en Español (ReTeCE) y su aprovechamiento para la enseñanza de la variación terminológica

La presente contribución se interesa en mostrar de qué forma una base de datos terminológicos de próxima publicación, la Red Terminológica del Comercio en Español(ReTeCE), puede ofrecerse como un recurso para el aprendizaje del léxico especializado del comercio y, en especial, de su variación para quienes se aproximan al españolcomo lengua extranjera/segunda lengua. En vista de este interés, en las siguientes páginas se hace un recorrido por algunas propiedades del diseño de ReTeCE, enfatizando sobre todo su interés por reflejar la variación, tanto la denominativa (dos o más formas léxicas para el mismo concepto) como la conceptual (dos o más conceptos asociados a la misma forma léxica), a partir de sus condicionamientos textuales, temáticos y, sobre todo, temporales y geográficos de uso. Por tanto, se explica, en primer lugar, el trabajo de confección de uncorpus y, luego,el diseño de fichas terminográficas conducentes a una interfaz digital capaz de reflejar la conectividad entre los rasgos lingüísticos, interlingüístico-traductológicos y distribucionales asignados a cada término, siempre teniendo en cuenta cuál puede serel provecho redituable de cara a la enseñanza del castellano como lengua extranjera/segunda lengua. Así, a partir de las propiedades explicadas en relación con ReTeCE, se explorahacia el final de la contribución algunas posibilidades de consulta con los que los aprendientes de castellano como lengua extranjera/segunda lengua pueden aprovechar la base de datos para ampliar su conocimiento y conciencia sobre la variación terminológica en un ámbito especializado.
