Starting from the realization over the last fve years of a Summer School of Philosophy, organized by the University of Verona and addressed to high school students, this essay aims to focus on some theoretical elements and some instances emerging from this encounter between the scholastic and academic worlds. The aim of the essay is to investigate the implications of the relationship between teaching and processes of subjectivation. In particular, the question of knowledge will be addressed from the perspective of the desire to know. Through an analysis of the refections that three thinkers such as Michel Foucault, Jean-Claude Milner and Bernard Stiegler have devoted to these issues, the very practice of philosophy will have to be thought of in its connection with the theoretical and political responsibility that the contemporary situation of teaching demands.
