The Decree of 24 July 2018 of the Ministry of Health, published in the Official Journal n. 188 of 14 August 2018, updated Table 3 of the Official Pharmacopoeia (XII edition) of the Italian Republic, generating in Pharmacists some uncertainties on the correct management of substances traditionally called "poisons". This article examines some aspects of the current text of Table 3 in order to provide the Pharmacist with indications on the technical-organizational measures to be implemented, also proposing an intervention by the legislator. © 2020 Il Pensiero Scientifico Editore s.r.l..
