Depending on traditions, culture, and personal preferences, specific actions can be taken to cope with the grief caused by the death of a newborn, such as collecting images or videos that capture special moments, selecting objects that remind the child, or performing commemorative rituals or ceremonies. Can these practices, which in the past may have taken on religious or superstitious forms, be considered therapeutic for those left behind today and therefore be integrated into the medical and healthcare context where the bereavement occurred? This paper aims to explore this topic.
