In this paper, we present the data from the sociolinguistic research CLaM 2021 related to the three historical Ladin municipalities in the province of Belluno (Souramont). This area was covered by the investigation in addition to the Ladin area of South Tyrol and to the Ladin and German(ic) areas of Trentino. After a brief introduction to the survey, the data is described along three different dimensions: (i) the perception of Ladin as local language and the way it is perceived in comparison to the majority languages of the territory; (ii) the competence in Ladin of the population living in the Souramont area with respect to the four dimensions of comprehension, reading, oral and written production;finally, we move on to (iii) the different contexts of use of Ladin compared to Italian or other varieties, the contexts being family, school and social media. The paper concludes with general observations about the sociolinguistic status of Ladin in Souramont.
