This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: The main aim of this Cochrane review is to assess the efficacy and tolerability of esketamine for treatment‐resistant depression. Secondary aims are to assess the risk of specific adverse events during esketamine treatment, and its acceptability.
