Tra antropologia e cosmologia. La funzione dell’astronomia negli anni tubinghesi di Hölderlin

This article addresses Hölderlin's education at the Stift and the University of Tübingen with a view to identifying new sources for his later usage of the metaphor "exzentrische Bahn". The result is as follows: the Dutch philosopher Frans Hemsterhuis seems to be a likely source for the usage of an astronomical image to convey a scenario, and theory, of philosophy of history.
