This short article aims to promote an overall rehabilitation of Schiller as a philosopher. Instead of considering him as a guest, however brilliant, in the realm of philosophy, this article claims that it is about time to acknowledge the competence, method and originality of Schiller the philosopher, which does not mean to diminish his value as a poet, playwright and historian.
